Welcome to Marbade Future Fishery Private Limited! I am Kamlesh Ratiram Marbade one of the directors, and pioneer of this technology that holds the power to transform fishery business. 

I was born in Tiroda, a small hamlet in Gadhchiroli District. All the directors belong to Bhoi  Fishing community. For generations our occupation has been to catch and sell fish or earn our livelihood as boatmen.

While my father worked with the government, my mother started Bhoi Samaj Mahila Vikas Sanstha, a trust through which she did social work of uplifting women, mentoring them to become economically independent, managing fishing business and taking decisions independently. As a small boy I ran errands for her; taking letters, files, and verbal messages from one place to another.  Thanks to such solid grounding that my life lessons in fishery business started early. This is also perhaps the reason my foundation has always been very deep rooted and I haven’t waivered from my path of working for the good of fishing community.

Since childhood through boyhood and as adult I have witnessed and have been a participant in launch, maintenance, and protection projects of various ponds, dams, and rivers. I have seen my community face challenges in breeding, feeding, catching, and selling fish in various water bodies viz. ponds, dams, and rivers; each season bringing its unique challenges.  I moved to Nagpur after passing 12^th to pursue 2 year course in Fishery Science when I came in contact with many senior experienced people.

This phase exposed me to different facets of the fishing eco-system right from old and new fishing techniques, to feeding, breeding, storing, selling fishes in various markets for fishing, scope of business, geographical and logistic challenges in fishing business and so on. I actively participated in many projects undertaken by government and non-government organizations from time to time. I got to know about various schemes launched by government for the betterment Fishing Community.

Over the years I came across many knowledgeable and influential leaders including senior government officials like my brother Prakash Malgave, and support and encouragement from political stalwarts like Shri Nitin Ji Gadkari who made my resolve to contribute in making my community stronger and self-reliant. I continued gathering knowledge about fishing as an occupation and as business which has evolved radically over the years.

While I was involved with various fishing institutions and organizations in different capacities, I pursued my passion on the side. I used my education, experience, experiments, knowledge, and research to develop a technology that can bring exponentially beneficial effect in the lives of fishing community. This modern and first technology of its kind can transform lives of those engaged in fishing business. I want this concept to reach every household. It will not only help us flourish together as a community, we will also be able to protect our environment and resources.
